Mini Report
Mid-Autumn Festival was one of the Chinese Traditional Culture Festivals which represents a family reunion. The initiative seeks to increase awareness of the Mid-Autumn Festival among younger people and viewers outside of China. Additionally, the celebration helps strengthen ties between neighbours and friends. "Lighthouse" is the name of the program's topic for 2019. In the middle of difficulties, it signifies that our initial goal is your beacon since it will lead us through the dark tunnel to the finish with lights. Nearly 1000 people are attended the programme that year, which was hosted at Ekovest Convention Hall, SJK(C) Wangsa Maju. The program's viewers included both students and parents from SJK(C) Wangsa Maju in addition to those from public and private colleges. Upon admittance, each audience member received a goodies bag that contained coupons for food, drink, and souvenirs made by the committees. In addition, MAF 2019 worked with the National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM) to raise fund for the organisation and public awareness of cancer during the event, putting into reality the Buddhist principle of lending a helping hand to those in need. The NCSM has successfully received RM 4000.00 thanks to MAF 2019. In this event, I was chosen to be in emcee team and partner with Ms Hee Jia Mei as a formal emcee as the master of the ceremonies. It was a big challenge because I have to overcome my stage fright and master the ceremonies in front of 1000 peoples. Gladly I have overcome it and earned some skills through it.
