French (le français or la langue française) is a Romance language of the Indo-European family. It descended from the Vulgar Latin of the Roman Empire, as did all Romance languages.French is an official language in 29 countries across five different continents,[4] most of which are members of the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie(OIF), the community of 84 countries which share the official use or teaching of French.

My Reflection About French

I study in ULAF1112 section 06 of French which are guided by Mohamad Hafiz Bin Che Ismail. As a student of computer science in UTM,  this course is a compulsory subject to be taken in our first semester.

First, why I am learning french because French is a world language. More than 220 million people speak French on the five continents. The OIF, an international organisation of French-speaking countries, comprises 77 member States and governments. French is the second most widely learned foreign language after English, and the sixth most widely spoken language in the world.

French is also the only language, alongside English, that is taught in every country in the world. France operates the biggest international network of cultural institutes, which run French-language courses for close on a million learners.

After I study in this semester about months, I have learn how to speak french very simple and know some word about the word.

It is very useful in my life. En conclusion, je voudrais remercier mon professeur qui m'a appris le français.
