            Nowadays, the advanced technology in Malaysia provide many chances to earn alternative income for the public. The trend in this modernization era is everyone complete their task by using internet, the internet is developing in rapid way and if the student do not update with it, they will disjoint with this world. Therefore, as a students of computer science in UTM, we should be alert about the trend of internet what is happening in the world. Therefore, we are assigned to join this program to know more about the eRezeki. 

The speaker of the talk about Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) on their program eRezeki is Mr.MOHD IHSANUDDIN JAMHARI which is also the master trainer for GLOW centre which stand for global online workforce and formerly known as eRezeki in certain region . GLOW is the largest digital marketing programme in Malaysia. He study degree electrical engineering in UTeM Melaka and continue study master pendidikan vokasional telekom education in UTM Johor. Mr.MOHD IHSANUDDIN JAMHARI is an enthusiastic and passionate Graphic Design Artist with creative and technical expertise with 6 years of experience in creative industry. He’s expertise is in logo design and branding design, he is also proficient in adobe photoshop, adobe illustrator and adobe photoshop lightroom. Mr.MOHD IHSANUDDIN JAMHARI work as fulltime freelancer, and the job offer for the freelancer is photography, ICT service and consultant, project manager and graphic designer. Freelancing can allow the freelancer do the job anytime anywhere as long as the job is suitable for the freelancer.

            eRezeki is the programme that allow B40 individuals to register as digital workers and perform simple digital-based task to generate additional, trustworthy income. eRezeki is also have the aim to develop a conducive crowd-sourcing ecosystem in Malaysia, eRezeki profiles trains, assesses, and qualifies individuals to benefit from the digital economy. eRezeki is the programme that need to work hand in hand with local and global organisations seeking to tap into Malaysia crowd-labour talents. eRezeki which formerly known as GLOW will provide a lot of benefit to the local country who implement the programme. The first benefit of the implementation of this programme can create a community of full time high quality crowd workers among Malaysians. Full time high quality crowd means that the worker can do the job freely without any chain that will limit the freedom of the worker, this mean that the worker will become his own employer. Secondly, the benefit of this programme is to help establish a sustainable model on the Global Online Workforce Program through engagement with strategic partners. This platform will engage difference of company that allow different in job that suitable to each worker with different ability or skill. The worker can also pick the job only if the price is right. Beside that, this programme can provide-alternative sources of income for Malaysians via multiple online platform, there are a lot of platform that provide the job to earn income such as Grab, FoodPanda, MadeEasy and Uber. Some of the workers are not focus on this programme as full time worker but this can still help them to earn extra income as they do the job as part time job as long as they have the skill to do it. Lastly, the benefit of this programme is to develop a support program for Malaysian freelancers to remain motivated, driven and committed in earning digital income via crowdsourcing platforms.

Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) is the holistic, government-owned agency launched in 1996 to pioneer the transformation of Malaysia’s digital economy. MDEC roots stemmed from Vision 2020, this plan is to develop Malaysia into nation by 2020. At year 2015, MDEC decide to initiate the programme eRezeki, they held a press conference about this program at year 2015 and invite the 6^th prime minister of Malaysia Najib Tun Razak to the open ceremony. This conference succeeds to attract the attention of the public. Besides that, MDEC also do a lot of effort to get people to know about the eRezeki program such as multimedia and campaign. MDEC use facebook, advertisement on television or internet and radio to promote to the public to know about eRezeki. Besides, MDEC also having a campaign in certain crowd that suitable to the program and give a speech about the detail of eRezeki in the campaign to make sure that the participant knows more about it. This program is open for those who have the ability in information computing technology. First the program will have a priority for those workers who is experienced freelancers or crowd workers in local and global crowdsourcing platforms. The program also recommends to the committed individuals aspiring to be crowd workers with qualifications and capabilities in various disciplines such as ICT, creative and design, languages and others. Besides that, who experienced offline and face-to-face freelancers, and who registered individuals in employment program by ministries, government agencies and at state level is also recommend to join this program. In a nutshell, this program also allows a person who is unemployed graduated and retrenched workers with the commitment to become crowd workers to join.

          As this eRezeki program is being launched, this program already causes a lot of impact to Malaysia. The first impact to Malaysia was the program can improve the efficiency and productivity for a business model among the country. The people who join the eRezeki program improve the growth of the local economy because the this allow more job to the people who have skill and still have no job in other company. Besides that, the benefit of this program creates a community of competitive digital workers among Malaysians who can earn jobs or projects form global crowdsourcing platforms, that allow worker to generate alternative incomes. The program also can increase the adoption of digital technology across the public and private sector, manufacturing and services. This program also enables the growth of productivity for Malaysia with positive way. This program helps the Malaysians at the bottom 40 per cent of the income pyramid to gain more digital income and reduce the poverty in the country.

            After the talk of this program, I have found out that I am interest to join this eRezeki program. Since the eRezeki program initiate to help the Malaysian that are B40 individual, this is suitable for me to join this program because I am still a first-year student of UTM. The course I study in UTM is data engineering which is also suitable for this program and this program allow me to apply what I have learn in the university. Even so, I am still a freshman in the university and do not have a good skill to apply on it. I will join this program as long as I find out my skill is able to use in the program to earn extra profit. This program can help the poverty student to have another way to earn income and the program is also very freely. Because the program can allow me to do the job anywhere anytime when the job in it is suitable for me.

            My reflection on this eRezeki program is this is a good program to all Malaysian because it is convenient for those workers and this suit to the new era for a developing country. All of the technology is always updated so we should catch up with the program as it is the new sign of the era. I will help to promote this program to another friend who need it because it is really helpful. As this program is more popular, Malaysia will get benefit from it such as the increment of economy Malaysia and joining this program can help to reduce the rate of vacancy in the country.
