Activity Report 1 - OPERA'19 (Badminton)

In this activity, I was able to learn some good graduate attributes, and also gain more valuable competition experience in the sport of badminton. It was my first semester of university life, I felt like I needed to show everyone about my abilities in the sport of badminton. Hence, I thought that it was a great opportunity to show myself when I saw the advertisement for this activity. Besides, it was stated that participating and winning in this activity will allow students to represent Kolej Tun Dr Ismail (KTDI) to participate in the upcoming major events. Not just that, students who participated in this activity would also gain some "quota pengetua" which could help ease the residential college selection process of the student. These were the reasons that I chose to participate in this activity.

Throughout this activity, I was able to learn about some valuable graduate attributes such as communication skills, thinking skills, adaptability, teamworking skills, and so on. This is because I had to work together well with my partner in order to execute our strategies together and advance through the competition as a team.

In the end, we were able to win the third place because of our great team work and strategies. I was happy with the outcome because it was my first competition ever in university and I already won a top 3 spot. I was very grateful to my partner for participating in this tournament with me as his partner. I am also grateful for this activity because of all the valuable lessons that it was able to teach me.
