UHIT 2302-53-Thinking of Science and Technology (Achievement of the course)

Unconsciously one semester has passed. The Thinking of Science and Technology class is one of my favorite classes. The capacity of the class is not too large so that we can easily interact with each other even with the lecturer. Every time I take this class I feel inspired, I love the class and also the lecturer. “A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite imagination and instill a love of learning”, thank you very much Dr. Mansoureh Ebrahimi.

We learned about the evolution of human thought from ancient times until now. There are many philosophical ideas that we just found out. We also explored the eco-system of science thinking itself, such as the relationship between humans and religion, ethics, and the role of science in human life. It turned out that the golden age of Islam is very influential in the development of science and technology, because there are many scientists who set the foundations of science such as Al-Zahrawi who discovered basic surgical instruments that are still used today. Then we also learned to analyze current issues about science and technology through making video project which was very interesting. No less interesting is the library search, through this assignment we learned a lot about Industrial Revolutions from IR 1.0 to IR 4.0 where many paradigm shifts have taken place. From this class I can understand about developments in the world of science and technology, as well as how to take a wise attitude in this aspect :D
