PERMAJ is an association of Johor natives and Gerbang Idealis Mahasiswa Johor is implemented to gather and reveal the direction and vision of Johor natives from all Institutes of Higher Learning (IPT) in Malaysia.

The Gerbang Idealis Mahasiswa (GIM) program was enlivened by the presence of the 17th Menteri Besar of Johor, Datuk Dr. Sahruddin Bin Jamal held at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Also present was YB Tuan Haji Aminolhuda Bin Haji Hassan, Chairman of the Johor Education, Health and Human Resources Committee. sharing information related to activities and programs carried out as well as providing information on the role of Johor State Government agencies related to human capital development, especially related to students. The program also given the opportunity to open an exhibition to share with Johor students. Deputy Vice Chancellor (Student and Alumni Affairs), Prof Dato 'Ir Dr Othman A. Karim said, the intellectual concept program is not only a platform for sharing ideas but it is also an added value to Johor students not only at UKM, even in all IPTs. The closing ceremony of the program was also attended by the General Manager of the Johor Education Foundation, Mahadon Marnin and the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and International Affairs), Prof Dato 'Ir Dr Mohd Marzuki Mustafa.
Self Reflection
I learned that leadership needs more than just a position in an organisation. Leadership means the art of encouraging a group of individuals to work together toward a single goal is known as leadership. This can entail directing workers and colleagues with a strategy to suit the company's needs in a corporate setting. I am trying to lead the johor students in UTM who will lead this state in the future. Some of the students who graduated from UTM work for the state. For example Mr Darren Lai Chai En who is from UTM and now as the Officer for YB Dato Onn Hafiz, Chairman of the Tourism, Youth and Sports Committee. Other than that, it is a very sweet experience and moment where the president of SEJATI assign me to lead the UTM students at UKM. It is a hard task because not all of the students knows me and only some of them are my friends. It is a new experience where i talk to strangers because i am a person who does not talk much. I only talk to the person who have bond like my friends and family.
