SECI2143-03 PROBABILITY & STATISTICAL DATA ANALYSIS

Project 2 : Consumption of Different types of Alcohol Among Teenagers in Germany

Introduction

Inferential statistics are involved with producing inferences based on relationships found in the sample. Inferential statistics also used to support or reject the claim that had been made before the test start.

Thus, a set of data regarding Alcohol Consumption is studied and be tests on several statistical methods, which include hypothesis testing, correlation, regression and ANOVA.

Reflection on Project 2

Doing Project 2 on Inferential Statistics has exposed me to a lot of skills in analyzing, testing, interpreting, and concluding information based on our own data in R Studio IDE via R language.

I managed to develop and improve my skills in R coding which I rarely used and practised. The code includes on inferential statistic test such as hypothesis testing, correlation, regression, as well as analysis of variance (ANOVA), in which later on could be researched and studied.

I also feel very thankful as this course give me the chance to develop such knowledge in the world of statistics. I have such a responsible course instructor to guide me along with the project progress. In the end, I think this course is able to equip its students to be prepared in a real-life situation. A lot of statistical skills in applying analysis is obtained throughout the semester. Hopefully, this course will continue to produce more expert and professional data analysis.
