REFLECTION
a. What is your goal/dream concerning your course/program?
My dream goal is to successfully expand my knowledge and experience in indulging my selected program which is Data Engineering. With world advancements and Malaysia moving towards the direction of IR4.0, I find that my course plays a big role in contributing towards the approach. I believe that it is crucial for me to learn and understand fully of what is taught throughout the courses in order for me to bring out my full potential in achieving success. I would love to pursue my career in the IT field as it is one of core sectors in evolving technologies.
b. What is the action/improvement/plan necessary for you to improve your potential in the industry?
I believe that I have improved my interpersonal and technical skills throughout attending this course. I had taken various approaches in order to improve myself such as doing researches, communicating with my group members, attending talks and accomplishing tasks given. These said activities had further trained me and gave me a taste of the outside world for me to be involved in the industry in the near future. I managed to enhanced my problem-solving skills, critical thinking, team work and data collecting skills. In terms of being technical, I discovered abilities that were hidden and managed to improve my editing skills, designing skills, and creative thinking.
c. Your opinion on whether this subject contributes to your knowledge on specific area?
Personally, I think that this subject contributes a ton to increasing my knowledge, especially regarding cloud computing. I had achieved the AWS badge by completing all the modules and further expanding my basics. This subject does not only provide detailed information regarding cloud computing, it also introduces the IT field as a whole such as database, IoT, electronic components and much more. I would not have gained all the knowledge if I were to not enrol in this course.
d. Acknowledgement for your lecturer
For my TIS lecturer, Dr. Izyan Izzati, she had been the nicest and had inspired me to indulge deeper in the course. Although she speeds through the syllabus, I am able to understand every lecture she thought. She is a professional and approachable. I do not feel hesitant to approach her if I were to inform or ask anything to her. I would like to show my gratitude and thank her for teaching me this subject.
In conclusion, I believe that I am able to apply everything that I learned whenever facing upcoming challenges to come up with an efficient solution. It is truly a great opportunity to be involved in this course.
