Course outline
This course dealt a lot with logic gates which is omnipresent in today's generation. The different sets of arrangements or connections of combination of logic gate yield circuits of desired function. For example , 7-segment digit calculator involves the meticulously designed logic circuit so that it is flawless while operating. With the knowledge of basic gates (NOT,AND and OR), many more complex circuit can be produced such as integrated circuit (IC), sequential logic circuit such as flip-flop and latch to perform complicated activities. The introduction of binary digits '0' and '1' is such a wonderful contribution to today's electronic technologies as it simplifies the design of computers and related technologies compared to decimal system. This course was lectured by Ms Rashidah.
