Appreciation of Ethics and Civilization

I, Abraham Loh Tze Lung from UHMS1182-33, have finished studying the course Appreciation of Ethics and Civilization in Semester 1 at UTM and the lecturer is Prof. Hashim Fauzy Yaacob. I am quite satisfied with the lectures conducted on top line along with Powerpoint Slides containing colored notes- colorful and easy to understand. In this course, I as a first year UTM student got various knowledge of the history of ethics, the application of ethics in current issues. Various aspects have been discussed and linked to ethics such as politics, economics and social in current issues. I also know that there are multiple traditions and cultures and also ethical in their respective countries. The history of ethical development on different continents is also discussed in this course in detail. I was also introduced to the philosophers of the past and their understanding is still relevant today. At the end of the course of this course, I was also assigned to run current issue study entitled “Mewujudkan Masyarakat Beretika Menurut Perlembagaan” based on group assignments. I get various benefits and learn a lot of ethics from this assignment. I am quite respectful and will appreciate the ethics of today. I have come to understand the definition of ethics in more depth after this course on the Semester 1. I hope that a civil and ethical society can exist.
