Goals of the experiment
- To determine the suitable gate drive for the project and compatible with the design specifications.
- To implement a current limiter circuit into the design as it can protect MOSFET from damage.
- To provide isolation between the microcontroller (Arduino) with DC motor.
- To observe the output signal of gate drive and output signal from the full circuit.
- To ensure that the electric skateboard will operate well without any damage in the circuit.
Expected results of the project
- Current limiter able to limit the current in the circuit up to 5A.
- Optocoupler perform a galvanic isolation between the microcontroller (Arduino) with DC motor.
- The DC motor can be control by using RF controller without any problem in the circuit.
- All of the circuit elements will be soldered on a soldering board.
