Mini Report
This programme ran for five days, from October 19th to October 23rd, from around 8pm to 10.30pm. The Architectural Association of UTM (Architech) organised Malam Silaturrahim 2021 (MSR2021). Introduction to architecture, ice breaking with diploma, degree, and master students, and group competition are all part of the event. The major goal of this event was to perform an ice-breaking session in order to break down the uncomfortable border between batches and develop a more unified UTM architecture students on a personal level.
The scheduling of this event was intended for new students enrolling in UTM's Architecture school, whether they were mainstream or direct intake students. This helps us get to know our classmates better, which can enhance our bonds in the future. Furthermore, the activities offered by the organisers helped the pupils to think critically.
Self Reflection
During the group breakout session, leadership and teamwork skills were crucial. My team leader must provide us with clear instructions by assigning tasks and encourage us not to be scared to contribute our thoughts in all activities, including acting. This is a talent that I should improve. A competent leader can make a choice that benefits everyone. Furthermore, with solid communication skills, the team may express their thoughts clearly, effectively, and completely during the programmes.
