Mini Report and Self Reflection:

PESANGON 2.0 stands for Penampilan Sanggar Online 2.0. This activity was in the form of dance and music performances brought by the UTM PPI Studio this event focused on team working skills. The theme for this event is ''Unity in Diversity from Around the World'' with a concept featuring various dances and music from various countries in Indonesia. Studio members will be grouped based on their respective domiciles and will shoot together in one place. These activities include developing the interests and talents of PPI UTM members in the field of dance and music, introducing various variants of cross-country dance and music to all PPI UTM members which are expected to increase a sense of unity despite diversity, activating PPI UTM music and dance studio activities during the Covid-19 pandemic, strengthening friendship between members of the PPI UTM music and dance studio. I am a participant and the committee got a lot of lessons from this event, starting from organizing events that improve my skills in teamworking as a participant, I can be a good communicator with my team and there are a lot of art lessons I got.

In carrying out this event there were several obstacles occurred including that there were several groups that were late in submitting videos, there were several members who were suddenly unable to participate in this event, there were technical errors during the video rendering process, there were several miscommunications between team members. This problem can be overcome by means of the Deadline for collecting dance and music videos must pay more attention so that it is not too late in submitting videos, members who are unable to participate in activities, in the future must notify us far in advance so that it is not sudden, the video rendering process and video uploading are minimal H-3 event to avoid technical errors, communication between teams must be further improved so that there is no miscommunication, there needs to be a limit to cash subsidies from the UTM PPI Studio to members for the future.

One of the programs that I participated in in 2022 was an, this program is online event to welcome new Indonesian students intake March 2021 which will be held from the 6th – 7th of March 2021, this event focuses on improving communication skills and adaptability for the student. I am a secretary who organized correspondence, proposals, and LPJ needed for this event. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this event was held online via Zoom and Youtube platforms, with the theme of 'Solidarity within capacity'. This event aims to welcome new Indonesian students and as a place to introduce each other to the culture they have and to strengthen the family ties between Indonesian students at UTM. This event was contributed by lots of speakers, one of them is Madam Ayu Azrin Binti Abdul Aziz who explained about student visas and health insurance policies, Madam Ayu provided a lot of information. Besides that, the material from excellent speakers was expected to increase awareness and enthusiasm for new Indonesian students to be better prepared to start studying at UTM.

On the first day, the event began at 08.30 MYT where the opening of the event was carried out with an opening dance performance by the Sanggar of  ISS-Indonesia and an opening speech from the Head of Committee of Samasta Online Gathering, President of ISS-Indonesia, President of ISS-Malaysia, Supervisor of ISS-Indonesia, Associate Director of Global Education and experience UTM International, and the Consul General of the Indonesian Consulate in Johor Bahru. After that, followed by a webinar by Andita Puteri Purnama, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ardiyansyah Syahrom, Madam Ayu Azrin binti Abdul Aziz, and an introduction to ISS- Indonesia UTM and its departments were carried out. 

Then on the Last day, new Indonesian students attended a room-to-room session with their respective groups that had been previously determined. In this room-to-room session, new Indonesian students participated in various activities such as quizzes, race in the melody, guess the picture, CMIW, guess the word, followed by the introduction of UTM starting from the places, facilities, and buildings of each faculty, and closed with a Force event between the September and March intakes which aims to bond to get to know friends from each faculty and the event went on smoothly until the proper closing at 16.00 MYT. 

as a secretary this event helped me in improving my communication skills, teamworking skills, and paying attention to the little things. Among some of the problems encountered in this event are technical problems such as problematic internet connection, a microphone that is unintentionally unmuted, and human error, some committees and participants did not join on time, therefore the start time of the event is getting longer and there was no backup plan. And the way to overcome it is Evaluate each problem and arrange a backup plan, Issue a warning to the committee and participants to raise awareness of the event, and One hour before the start of the event, the committee and participants must participate in the zoom.

Technology will become more sophisticated as time goes by, especially in this pandemic condition that requires students or even workers to stay at home to keep their distance, nowadays everything forces us to be able to use technology, for example, students who have to learn online, like us using Cisco Webex platforms. Cisco company is one of the large companies that work closely with universities or offices. Besides that, Cisco has also conducted research which revealed that now more people are working from home than people who work directly in their offices. The more advanced technology is the more things that can interfere, for example, digital disrupters are taxi services (Uber, Lyft), retail stores (amazon.com), cars, and others.

currently, there are many cyber attacks that can hack various companies and antivirus only is not enough then email security is very important. Cisco is one of the platforms for online meetings or online learning that has a high level of security, ranging from conversations, videos, chat texts, and many other things, the use of this Cisco platform really maintains user privacy.

So from the webinar, I got interesting lessons about security that can help me in using technology such as using VPN or anything else and I can learn more about Cisco Webex
