TECHNOLOGY AND INFORMATION SYSTEM

ABOUT THIS SUBJECT

What I've discovered that I would prefer not to ever stop the long life learning procedure. I need to be a deep-rooted student. The more I learn and investigate, the more I see that looks profitable and fascinating that needs investigating.  However, more radically, I have additionally found that it isn't just about me and my learning procedure. On account of innovation, there are currently such a significant number of better approaches to investigate and learn. Or maybe, the genuine significance turns out to be the manner by which I am ready to rouse and inspire others (my understudies) with discovering that utilizes innovation as an impetus.

I have come to comprehend that learning TIS subject to connect with others. Hearing and seeing the thoughts and encounters of others, sharing my thoughts, examining and gaining from one another produces a wealth of truth and learning. Innovation cultivates this association among numerous students. Strengthening originates from finding various approaches to indicate understudies that innovation can push them to maybe take in more effectively and on a more elevated amount. This thus causes them to build up their adoration for deep-rooted learning. The strengthening proceeds as I make circumstances for learning so that understudies choose what they have to realize and how they will approach learning it. The utilization of innovation makes numerous open doors for self-coordinated learning.

ASSIGNMENT 5 : INDUSTRIAL TALK ABOUT IOT

Introduction.

On 18th November 2018, I went to an industrial talk that include student from two school in Faculty of Engineering, School of Computing and School of Electrical Engineering. This talk was held in lecture room P03-221 School of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), from 11:00am until 1:00pm. The main topic of this talk is Internet of Things (IOT). IOT is the network of physical devices, vehicles, home appliances, and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and connectivity which enables these things to connect, collect and exchange data IOT involves extending Internet connectivity beyond standard devices, such as desktops, laptops, smartphones and tablets, to any range of traditionally dumb or non-internet-enabled physical devices and everyday objects. Embedded with technology, these devices can communicate and interact over the Internet, and they can be remotely monitored and controlled.

IOT- Predictive Maintenance Get An Extreme Makeover

The first talk was given by Mr.Syahrul Hafidz Suid. He is an Enterprise Consultant from Hewlett Packard Enterprise. His talk is about IOT- Predictive Maintenance Get an Extreme Makeover. Firstly he talk about Industrial Evolution 4.0. It name given to the current trend of automation and data exchange in manufacturing technologies. It includes cyber-physical systems, the Internet of things, cloud computing and cognitive computing. Industry 4.0 is commonly referred to as the fourth industrial revolution. Industry 4.0 fosters what has been called a "smart factory". Within modular structured smart factories, cyber-physical systems monitor physical processes, create a virtual copy of the physical world and make decentralized decisions. Over the Internet of Things, cyber-physical systems communicate and cooperate with each other and with humans in real-time both internally and across organizational services offered and used by participants of the value chain.

One of the example of Predictive Maintenance is from FLOWSERVE. Flowserve manufactures and services fluid motion control solutions for the world's toughest, most critical applications. Their also applied Augmented Reality (AR) to help engineer to do maintenance that will help reduce time to configure the problem by using any device that will show the problem that gain from the sensors. It also will predict the upcoming problem if we not repair that part.
