SECP1513-08 TEKNOLOGI DAN SISTEM MAKLUMAT (TECHNOLOGY AND INFORMATION SYSTEM)

My goal is able to learn and gain experience so I could apply it during my study time and work in the future. To become a professional software developer isn’t easy as it one of the promising fields. I hope I can be a professional software developer as nowadays we know that technology and information system has been applied in all field and it is important. I also got interest in learning about technology since in primary school as I eager how its work. For example, how developer make a video game with a realistic graphic.

In order to improve my potential in technology industry, I will increase and strengthen my hard and soft skills in technology industry. Furthermore,  I will find experience as much as I can about engineering field as company nowadays need to hire workers who capable in everything. I also will improve the way I think to become more creative as creative thinking will enables innovative problem-solving, reusing old technologies in new ways, developing new processes, and creating new methods.

As I know software engineering is a very promising field and to become a professional software developer is not only about learning about coding but also one needs to know about current technology. Furthermore, to become professional software engineers we need to be creative and able to solve complex problems. It is important to gain knowledge because the learning process never ends. It can be seen my TIS lecturer always organizes industry talk about the current technology field so the student could learn new knowledge and be up to date. For example, after attending industry talk 7 which is about data visualization. I learn how to use Microsoft Power BI, which is very interactive and easy, I also could apply it during my study or work. To be honest, I never know about Microsoft power BI existent. After doing assignment 4 with my colleagues, I have learned to present the data in an attractive way rather than using Microsoft excel.

I would love to express my special appreciation and thanks to my lecturer Dr. Izyan Izzati Kamsani, Dr has been a great lecturer for me. I gain a lot of information about technology and information system which is very important as a software engineering student. I enjoy and feel motivated as you are always concerned about your student. For example, you always asked us about the amount of TIS assignments we need to do and extend the project submission. Thank you, Dr for your knowledge, and looking forward to meeting you in person soon.
