I'd want to express my gratitude and admiration to Mr Hairudin Abdul Majid, my TIS lecturer, for his extensive talks and discussions during our weekly class meetings. Sir will briefly describe the assignment as a brief guide for us to have a deep understanding of how we will complete the task during each assignment and project release time. It is tough for me to complete all assignments and projects on time without sir's guidance.
The Technology and Information Systems subject has introduced me to the world of evolving technology, which I was previously unaware of because I did not pay much attention to technology development prior to enrolling in the network and security programme. This actually relevant to both industry talks and project-based learning. Industry talks provide me with a wealth of information on how to work in the industry through the sharing of speakers from various sectors, and project-based learning, such as the low-fidelity prototype project, allows me to understand low-fidelity prototyping knowledge in addition to project report writing skills.
As a computer science student, it is necessary for me to be knowledgeable in a variety of programming languages, including C++, Python, Java, and others. So, I'm going to work on polishing my C++ coding skills by participating in programming communities like Stack Overflow and Telegram Coding group, where I can learn the latest programming techniques and fresh ideas from other programmers. Because every coding issue has various answers, learning, in my perspective, is not just about self-directed learning but also about learning from others. In addition, I intend to compete in competitions or attend seminars to strengthen my soft skills, such as communication and leadership, which will assist me in obtaining a position in the company later.
Lastly, I want to obtain all of the core abilities that a computer science student should have, such as coding skills and others, in my Network and Security course. My dream job would be to work for a huge technological business like Apple, Microsoft, or Amazon because of the excellent employee facilities, conducive working balance, and pleasant working environment, not to mention the high pay.

The 4.0 industrial revolution is the topic of Industry Talk 1 by TM's Mr Nazri Edham. Mr. Nazri began by discussing the TM company profile. He went to great length about each stage of the industrial revolution in the following presentation. According to his presentation, the fourth stage is the era of cyber-physical systems, which includes data capture and analytics, SaaS, platforms, artificial intelligence, advanced robotics, sophisticated sensors, smartphones, cloud computing, augmented reality, and the Internet of Things (IoT). By bringing out certain examples, he let me realise that 4IR has a practical application in our daily lives. He used the applications of smart cities, 5G, and the cloud as examples. In the education industry, the cloud was used to replace face-to-face lectures with virtual lectures delivered via video conferencing systems, among other things.

In the fourth industrial revolution, Ms Sarah Khadijah Taylor of CyberSecurity Malaysia taught me the need of ongoing training and education and reskilling. She started the conversation by giving a brief overview of CyberSecurity Malaysia and the services it offers. During the Q&A session, Ms Sarah stated that, based on her previous experience leading the recruitment process, the key attributes she is looking for in candidates are skills-based. To summarise, we must upgrade our abilities in order to keep up with current technologies and maintain employment in the sector.

Dr Qusay Al-Maatouk, a lecturer from Asia Pacific University (APU), presents Industry Talk 3 on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The first module's slides, which covered the principles of cloud computing and AWS, were presented by Dr To assist us to comprehend what he was talking about, he provided a quick presentation on how to use AWS and the costs of some AWS services. The Q&A session with Dr. was quite helpful because it covered current cloud computing developments in addition to AWS.

Listening to Industry Talk 4 by Dr Ruzimi Mohamed from OZEL has improved my understanding of current trends in augmented reality in the industry. Dr informed us about the use of Augmented Reality (AR) in various income streams in the industry, as well as the many forms of AR, such as marker-based, projection-based, and superimposition-based AR. This session informed me that augmented reality may be used in healthcare, education, video entertainment, retail, live events, and engineering, in addition to gaming.

Mr Goh Bih Der of CommScope gave Industry Talk 5 on "Emerging Technology on Network Infrastructure," which covered pandemic influence on the IT world, technology highlights, smart campus, and CommScope operations. The Internet of Things (IoT), multigigabit technology, unified network administration, and cloud analytics was among the technology highlights he shared. In addition, he showed us the CommScope network portfolio. I learned about network infrastructure thanks to his sharing. A typical network design, I had learned, consists of components such as an access point, switches, wireless routers, and routers.

Mr Nicholas Yong of Huawei's Industry Talk 6 on "5G, Wifi6, and Emerging Network Technologies" taught me about Wi-Fi 6 and the differences between 5G and Wi-Fi 6. He also gave a quick introduction of Huawei and its products, including the Huawei AirEngine 5760-51 Access Point, a next-generation Wi-Fi 6 indoor Access Point (AP) that excels at managing high performance and high-density conditions, allowing signals to actively follow users. Wi-Fi 6's key technologies have amazed me with how powerful it is.

This is our last talk in TIS semester 1, Mr Isma Redha of International Conference & Exhibition Professionals (iCEP) gave Industry Talk 7 on the topic of "Introduction to Data Visualization," which taught me about the purpose of data visualisation. Mr Isma claims that effective data visualisation allows him to communicate the storey of the data's hidden insights. He recommended Microsoft Power BI as a platform for transforming data into rich graphics. He demonstrated how to use Microsoft Power BI by displaying his most recent data visualisation. We would not have had the opportunity to examine Microsoft Power BI if it hadn't been for Mr Isma's generosity.
