Mini Report:
First Year Experience Programme is the first activity that PEMETA and GEOINFO organized together in 2022/2023. The main reason I join this program is because as a new student in UTM particularly in FABU, I got the opportunity to work in groups with different students from another program. We were divided into small group based on the state we were born. My friend and I work together to complete the tasks given in the activities during the program. The program carried out is interesting and challenging and can also benefit all the students involved. I also realized that working in a group is more efficient and easier after this program. This program involves solving puzzles, riddles and many more. The content of this activity is socializing with other new students and carrying out recreational activities that require geomatics knowledge. And last but not least, we end our program with BBQ at the Tasik Desa Bakti in the evening.
Self Reflection:
After this program, I can be adaptable and ready to learn and have abilities such as creativity, critical thinking, an open mentality, and the capacity to study, plan, collaborate, and communicate. Graduates who are adaptable are also aware of and can join the other big event for the next time and can do better than before this. I managed to make new friends and able to stay friend with them even after finishing the program.
