Reflection
Before starting this reflection, I would first like to thank Prof. Ahmad Kilani Bin Mohamed who taught us the subject of Philosophy and Current Issues. He has helped me to be able to finish the assignment in this subject smoothly. Not to forget also my teammates who have given strong cooperation and were able to solve the various challenges we have faced. In terms of lectures, I have been given many benefits from sharing his experiences related to philosophy. Among the things that have been emphasized are the united attitude between the races, the importance of the tenets of the nation to ourselves as Malaysians and also the importance of fulfilling our lives with benefits because death cannot be expected. In these lectures as well, I have studied various philosophies, namely the philosophy of prosperity, epistemology, logic and also the concept of JERI human beings. All this is important to build us as knowledgeable and civilized human beings. Next, I also learned how to find true knowledge according to the logic discussed in this philosophy. This can prevent me from being frequently exposed to a lot of fake information or news on the internet. In terms of assignments, our group has created posters related to cybercrime. From that, I have gained a lot of knowledge with how this crime is committed as well as the impact and importance of tackling this cybercrime. We were also required to make a creative presentation video. From this, I have learned effective or efficient ways to present my title which were the statistics and impact of cybercrime. Furthermore, I have been given the opportunity to ‘edit’ the video for this assignment and have learned more about ways to ‘edit’ this video properly. Me and a group of friends have also made a relevant acting video on the issues discussed along with our presentation video. Although this task has its challenges like only being able to meet online, but we are still able to face those challenges and complete the assigned tasks. These challenges also taught me and our group to be wise in managing time while performing the task. If given the opportunity to study this subject on campus instead of online, it would certainly be more interesting.
