1. What are the similarities and differences between entrepreneurs and businessmen?
Similarities:
- Both entrepreneurs and businessmen reveal that they both are decision makers,
- Both have managing abilities such as drive for profit and effective business modelling.
- Both can project forward.
Differences:
- Entrepreneur brings his/her unique idea or concept to run a startup company while businessman is a person who starts a business based on an old concept or idea or in other word, an existing idea or concept.
- Entrepreneur is a risk taker and accountable while businessman is always stay safe.
- The nature of a businessman is calculative, but an entrepreneur is intuitive.
- The businessman is a market player while Entrepreneur is a market leader because he is the first to start such a kind of enterprise.
- Business types of entrepreneur is innovative and revolutionary while business types of businessman is traditional way.
2. What are the similarities and differences between entrepreneur and manager?
Similarities:
- Both entrepreneur and manager is a person or a founder who creates and build companies for the general public.
- Both need to think a way to sustain the product in a marketplace
Differences:
- An entrepreneur is a visionary that converts an idea into a business which he is the owner of the business while a manager, is an employee, he works for a salary.
- The entrepreneur by nature is a risk taker which mean that he has to take calculated risks to drive the company further while a manager, is risk-averse which mean that his job is to maintain the status quo of the company.
- For an entrepreneur, the key motivation is achievements while for the managers, the motivation comes from the power that comes with their position.
- Entrepreneur drive to change products while manager drive to keep efficient products working
3. Have you ever think that you have an entrepreneurial mindset?
Yes, I think and believe that I have an entrepreneurial mindset because I am a optimistic and confident person and also have a high degree of commitment. In addition, I think I have some other entrepreneur qualities such as creative and innovative, drive to achieve and team building.
