1. The similarities of a businessman and entrepreneur is that they are the boss of the project or business they running.
The difference between entrepreneur and businessman is similar but with different ambitions. Ideas that a businessman uses are the ones that Is already existing such opening a franchise business of a well know brand. The entrepreneur uses own ideas or concept that may be similar with existing ideas but not the same. Even if it’s the same ideas definitely the technology, method and concept is way more different because entrepreneur business are innovative and revolutionary type which is proportional to our higher knowledge and technology rather than the traditional method of a businessman. The entrepreneur can be known as high baller for their risk being taken and being accountable no matter failure or success. Businessman always stay safe because of the method of market orientation where the are the players which has less impact in success or failure unlike the market leader which are the entrepreneur. Role played by the entrepreneur is active where they dedicate their life to it by quitting their 9-5 job where else the businessman business gives him a living, much more a passive player.
2. Manager is more like a 9-5 job with a company he does not owns. Manager mange the resources for a company and bear all the risks. In a event of failure, he will be questioned but if in event of success the company BOD will be celebrating and enjoy while the manager continues he daily life. Entrepreneur is freer and the owner of his own company. The similarities will be that the manager and entrepreneur make decision for the company.
3. I would say I have but 2 most important skills or characteristic I haven’t adopt is comfortable being uncomfortable and not willing to take big risks as I know myself to prone to failure is too many pressure. But I always have ideas on every single thing to improve them and question myself why does no one does this? Maybe in the future im able to? One thing for sure is I always try to improve from yesterday even the results is unnoticeable. Colonel Sanders was 65 years old to start his fried chicken empire, so there is still room for improvement for me.
