- What are the similarities and differences between entrepreneurs and businessmen?
The entrepreneurs and businessmen are similar in terms of their goals which is to achieve success in their business. They also work in the same business industry. On the other hand, they also have a lot of differences. First, their idea generation. The entrepreneurs are the type that develops their business based on their own unique ideas and concepts, while the businessmen just utilize existing ideas on their business. Next, entrepreneurs are innovative and revolutionary in their business instead of just using traditional business types or methods like the businessmen. Then, entrepreneurs are undeniably a risk-taker. They are willing to take risks in building up their businesses. On the contrary, the businessmen take account of risk and avoid it to keep their business safe. Talking about market orientation, entrepreneurs leading the market while the businessmen just utilizing the existing market. Finally, entrepreneurs give their life in their businesses instead of living with their businesses like businessmen.
- What are the similarities and differences between entrepreneur and manager?
The things that entrepreneurs and managers have in common are both of them are decision maker and both also have good communication skill. As for the differences, firstly, an entrepreneur is someone who is visionary and willing to take financial risks, while manager works for salary and does not bear any risks. Secondly, their objective also different, entrepreneur goals is to succeed in their business while a manager goals just getting the work done. Then, talking about flexibility. Managers is the one who will stick to working hours instead of entrepreneurs that have no working hours. Lastly, entrepreneur focus was put at expanding and developing their business while manager focus was to manage a smooth daily business. Simply said, the biggest difference of an entrepreneur and a manager is one is the owner and one is the worker.
- Have you ever think that you have an entrepreneurial mindset?
Yes, I think that I have entrepreneurial mindset because I am a risk taker. For me, for something like drastic or big success to come, there is always risks behind it. Next, I am the type that likes to look for opportunities. I like to look at things in a positive way. I also a creative and innovative person. I like to train myself to thinks outside the box in overcoming a problem. I will try to find not just one way, but multiple ways to solve my problem. In addition, I have a clear vision of my future in what I want to achieve in my life. For that reason, I will drive myself to pursue my passions and dreams. I can put my ego aside and act professionally. I like to seek feedback from others about myself and where I can improve myself. Last but not least, I have strong confidence in my potential that I can do everything with the right dedication and hard work. To conclude, I know that success would not easily come, I will push myself to work harder to achieve my goals and to become a successful entrepreneur.
