1. Explain the 4 types of communication techniques.

- verbal communication: is words used in a conversation, categorized into oral communication and written communication. We must use strong with confident speaking voice, try to avoid filler words and teen slangs.

- written communication: Have to write in short sentences that you can understand. Make sure that there are no any grammatical error and punctuation. Written communication relies on grammar, punctuation and word choice. Developing written communication skills requires practice and fine attention to detail.

- non-verbal communication: is transfer of information through the use of body language. Have to learn how to communicate with your eyes, be aware of reaction with listener. Be considerate of personal space especially person is not your bestfriend or your family.

- visual communication: make sure get permission to use. The act of using visuals as aid during presentations to enhance context of verbal and/or written communication.

- interpersonal communication: process of exchanging information, ideas and feelings between two or more people through verbal and no-verbal methods. Give full attention when someone speak with you, use body language to show that you are listening and you are interested.

2. How you can be a good communicator?

verbal communication: -use strong, confident speaking voice

                                          - use active listening

                                          - Avoid filler words

                                          - Avoid teen slangs

non-verbal communication: - Maintain eye contact

                                                  - Use facial expression 

                                                  - Be aware of tones and sounds 

                                                  - Mind posture

                                                  - Be considerate of personal space

written communication: - Clarity: writing in simple language and sticking to concrete, specific information

                                           - Concise: include only the details that are necessary to communicate your point

                                           - Tone; one of professionalism blended with varying degrees of formality and friendliness.

                                           - Active voice

                                           - Grammar and Punctuation

visual communication: - Ask others for permission to include visuals

                                         - Consider the audience

                                         - Use only if add value

                                        - Make the visuals clear and easy to understand

3. What are the barriers to be a good communicator?

-physical barriers

-emotional barriers

-cultural barriers

-language barriers

-gender barriers

-religious barriers

-interpersonal barriers: withdrawal, rituals, pastimes, working, games, closeness
