- 4 types of communication techniques.
Firstly, verbal communication in which involved conversation thru oral and written communication. A strong, confident speaking voice leads to an effective communication beside an active listening, avoid using filler words and teen slangs.
Furthermore, written communication in which these skills are those necessary to get our point across in writing. Written communication relies on grammar, punctuation, and word choice in developing the skills which require practice and fine attention to detail. We should write in simple language and sticking to concrete, specific information. Be concise and use a correct grammar and punctuation.
Thirdly, non-verbal communication as the transfer of information through the use of body language, including eye contact, facial expressions, gestures, tone and pitch of voice, body movement and posture and space. We should maintain the eye contact and use facial expressions to convey other people during communicating. Be aware of tones and sounds and mind the posture to avoid any miscommunication an be considerate of personal space.
Moreover, interpersonal communication. It is a process of entire process of exchanging information, ideas and feelings between two or more people through verbal and non-verbal methods. One needs to pay attention and use body language to show interest in listening. Clarify the understanding and don’t interrupt or redirect the conversation. We should give appropriate responses that are honest but polite.
- How you can be a good communicator?
We can be a good communicator through applying those techniques such as using a strong confident voice while speaking to gain awareness among the receiver and avoid any miscommunication occurs afterwards. Other than that, using body language with the eyes contact, facial expressions and gesture will spice up the confident in the communicator, Hence, an effective communication will occur among that particular social groups.

- Withdrawal : Withdrawal is an absence of interpersonal contact. It is both refusal to be in touch and time alone.
- Rituals : Rituals are meaningless, repetitive routine devoid of real contact.
- Pastimes : Pastimes fill up time with others in social but superficial activities.
- Working : Work activities follow the rules and procedures of contact but no more than that.
- Games : Games are subtle, manipulative interactions which are about winning and losing. They include “rackets” and “stamps”.
- Closeness : The purpose of interpersonal contact in closeness.
