Explain the 4 types of communication techniques?

Verbal Communication

Verbal communication is the most common communication technique in our daily life. Verbal communication is simply can be defined by oral communication using words.

Written Communication

Written communication technique is a skill that uses writing to get our point clearly to the receiver. This technique does no inflicts oral communication. The aspects of grammar, punctuation, and word choice are important to make sure the information shared is easily understandable. This technique requires practice and fine attention to the details.

Non-Verbal Communication

Non-Verbal communication is a technique that transfers information using body language. This includes eye contact, facial expression, gestures, body movement, and posture, etc. This communication technique usually be used together with verbal communication to make a good deliverance of sharing.

Visual Communication

Visual communication is the technique that using visuals as an aid during a sharing or presentation to enhance the context of verbal and written communication. Visuals will help in giving more information and understanding to the audience. This technique will also easily help to gain more attention from the audience

How you can be a good communicator?

  • To be a good communicator we must convey the message received thoroughly and understand the message to give respond accordingly to it.
  • In verbal communication, we need to speak clearly with direct manners and also use easily understood language and words to make sure that the listener will receive the information with ease.
  •  When communicated with others. We need to maintain eye contact and have a friendly facial expression.
  • Also, we need to pay attention when having a conversation with someone to make sure we understand the information that was shared.
  • Be confident.
  • We need to be honest when giving responses, if their ideas were opposite to ours, we need to be polite when responding to them. Do not be rude.
