Explain the 4 types of communication techniques?

• Written communication relies on grammar, punctuation and word choice. Developing  written communication skills requires practice and fine attention to detail. Written communication skills are those necessary to get our point across in writing.
• Interpersonal communication is a process of an entire process of exchanging information, ideas and feelings between two or more people through verbal and non- verbal methods.
• Visual communication is the act of using visuals as an aid during presentations to enhance the context of verbal and/or written communication.
• Verbal communication is a type of communication by using words in a conversation. For effective communication, we must speak not too loud but strong and confident enough. Use active listening and try to avoid filler and teen slang.

How you can be a good communicator?

• Use body language to show that you are listening and you're interested.
• Understanding the emotion and intentions behind the information.
• Able to also listen in a way that gains the full meaning of what’s being said and makes the other person feels heard and understood.
• Conveys their message thoroughly and is receptive and responsive to others input.
• Speaks in a clear, direct manner, using easily understood language.

What are the barriers to be a good communicator?

• Physical barriers.
• Perceptual barriers.
• Emotional barriers.
• Cultural barriers.
• Language barriers.
• Gender barriers.
• Religious barriers.
