Reflective Report (LIM JUN JIE  A18KE0098)

I was very happy to join Ping Pong Club for the session 2019/2020 semester I. For your information, Ping Pong was my first choice while registering for the co-curricular activity.

I started play Ping Pong since I was a Year 3 student. I had also participated in a lot of Ping Pong competition and got some achievements during my Ping Pong journey. However, I had stopped playing Ping Pong during my secondary school because focusing on training Chess as well as my study. Even though I started playing Ping Pong while studying in matriculation, there was a lot of skills that needed to be trained again after taking 6 years break. Hence, I decided to take Ping Pong as my co-curricular activity while studying in the university to increase my Ping Pong skills.

After joining the club, I found that I can not only improve my Ping Pong skills, but also training me in organizing the event. For example, my classmates and I had successfully organized the Service Learning at SK Temenggong Abdul Rahman 1. It was a nice experience for me as it was a golden opportunity for me to hold a program in the primary school. I was responsible for doing the poster and doing the presentation based on the poster to explain the concept of Ping Pong to the students. I also taught them about the techniques and skills used in Ping Pong. After the Service Learning, I was very happy as I managed to share my knowledges to the others. Besides, I was grateful when we saw the students’ satisfied smile as this indicated that our efforts had been paid back.

After the service learning, my lecturers had also organized some challenges for us to improve our Ping Pong skills such as Ping Pong challenges. In addition, I had also involved myself in the exhibition of Hari Ko-K such as explaining the progression of our club along the semester to the public as well as sharing some techniques about Ping Pong to those who were interested in.

In conclusion, I had learned a lot of things after joining the Ping Pong club along this semester. I would also like to thank to my lecturers, Sir Zulkepli and Sir Edzskandar, who had shared their knowledges to me along the semester.
