For 2CT Festival 2018, i involve in theatre titled ‘Rusuh Natrah’ and after the first discussion, i had been chosen to be the person who are being responsible to arrange the lighting along the theatre being roled. I need to ensure that the light being switched off and on at the right time. I need to know the flow from start until the end of the teater session so that do the job well. Along the training session, there are some issues occur such as miscommunication happened, decision making without others agreement, and many more. For my role, we actually need a several coloured lights to ensure that all the scenes able to presented in their actual timeframes. But unfortunately, the hall did not have that kind of light and we can’t plug in any extra light. So that, we just used the light that are given in the hall. The process that involves in this festival are how to make sure the theatre can be understand by the people that watch it, need to be creative in selecting the props, and we had thinking that to used coloured plastics to change colour of lights for every scenes but we did not have the permission to plug in any electrical sources. Lesson learned for this festival is how to manage a theatre and to work in a big group. It was very difficult and for sure there are a lot of miscommunication happened but all of it can be settled at the end of the festival.
