Mini Report:
For the program, I joined as a crew of the department of site. I had actively building and creating Chinese New Year decoration for the site. One of the decoration created was a bridal sedan chair that for the performance of the origin of the Year of Rat according to Chinese Tradition. I also corporate with my team member to create the tools and decoration for the opening ceremony of the event. The following attached picture was bridal sedan chair build and placed in the hostel room. I have built the graduate attribute, leadership and teamworking skill by corporate with other team member to create the various decoration required for the event. The decoration created will be used in an event which showcase the performance of the origin of Year of Rat of Chinese Tradition.
Self-reflections:
This activity had culture leadership and teamworking skill in me by providing me an opportunity to corporate with other team member to realize the vision of event going to-be. A lot of meeting was planned and conducted to ensure the product and result of our effort was as quality as planned. I also actively help the team members on their part when they were facing problem to create the best result. My strength in this activity was I am able to accept others opinion to create the most ideal result. With the mentioned strength, the meeting was conducted smoothly and delighted. During the event, I had faced that there was a lot of material and tools required for creating the decoration was lacked. The problem was solved via corporate with other club for sharing material and tools for the following event and return back the material and tools after the event.
