Bengkel Robocon 2019/2020
This event is a program that about building a robot car from stretch using knowledge of electronic to build the circuit of the robocar and mechanical to build the body of the car and so on. The event was held on 28/09/2019 at block P20 of UTM johor campus by UTM official club robocon. I joined the event as participant.
Mini Report:
This event is an activity for the participant to build a robocar from sketch from the aspect of mechanical, electronic and programming of the robocar. The mechanical knowledge is used to build the body of the robocar meanwhile the electronic knowledge is for creating the circuit of the robocar and the programming knowledge is for defining the behavior of the robocar. The graduate attributes, thinking skill was built in this event due to this event require a lot of problem solving skill for the abundant skill required to build a robocar. I join this activity and successfully created a robocar that able to follow the track of black line on the floor. From the first phase of designing the circuit, building the circuit and the body the robocar to program the robocar, a lot of effort was given due to abundant skill and hardworking required to build a robocar.
Self-reflection:
Due to this activity require abundant of skill and knowledge to create a robocar, I have built the graduate attribute of thinking skill to think the solution for the abundant problem faced while building the robocar. My strength toward this activity was I was able to focus on the robocar with all my spare time rather than focusing my academic. This result in I was able to build my desire robocar with sufficient time to solve each of the problem faced such as googling the problem or inquire other for opinions upon the solution. During this activity, I faced problem such as lack of information due to building a robocar require three area of knowledge which is mechanical, electronics and programming. I had solved this problem by reading dozens of documents related to build a robocar on the internet to acquire sufficient knowledge and skill to create the desired robocar.
