What is your goal/dream about your course/program?
Attending courses from a prestigious university is a dream that has already been fulfilled. As an optimistic student, I day dream about my future on a daily basis such as wanting to get First Class Honours Degree, wanting to own a technology based start-up company and many more. From my point of view, the Online Distance Learning (ODL) method is not my forte. This online-held semester has been one of the dreadful times I faced in the two decades I lived, starting from the surge in anxiety levels during online tests, submitting the wrong file during test paper submissions, having to commute to KL-Johor weekly to take care of my bed ridden grandma and many more unwanted incidents. However, I will try my absolute best to go through this rough patch during the pandemic. For this semester, I dream to atleast pass all the courses that I have taken and not having to repeat the semester. Once the Covid-19 cases are low and students are allowed to attend classes on campus, I assure you that I am going to do way much better than how I did in this semester.
Besides that, I plan to master every single subject and try to implement it in real life. I plan to learn and be exposed to plenty of programming languages, enhance my entreprenuership skills and polish my soft skills. This is because, these aspects will be considered as an added value to an excellent UTM graduate like me.
What is the action/improvement/plan necessary for you to improve your potential in the industry?
First and foremost, I must improve on the way I take things into consideration and thoughts, namely my mental health state. Since obtaining a degree is a golden ticket to the working world, I must be tough in terms of both physical and mental wise. I plan to change my ways of studying and experiment with new methods to increase my learning productivity. Being in a prestigious university, I plan to join various events and community works to build up an established network. I also will subscribe and enroll to notable online courses to gain more knowledge and explore the field that have my utmost interest. Besides that by gaining online courses, I can also increase the size of my network on a more globally scale with those who have the same interest as me from all around the world. "Experience is the best teacher" is a saying that I truly believe in. I will try my best to do part time jobs within campus or independently to gain more experience.
