Reflection for NetCom Task 1
In our first task, we should design a new building for The School of Computing that contains 2 video conferencing rooms and 4 new labs. The labs are general-purpose lab, network lab, IoT lab, and computer security lab. Honestly, in this task I did not really understand what should we do in our first task this project because I was a little bit confused when we designed the building, I mean there are some requirements in the building that we had to fulfill but at that time I did not know whether we only had to fulfill the requirements with a little bit addition rooms that are not really big problem to build such as, toilet, study room, and pray room. Or maybe we can add some big rooms that will also need a server such as a library and a lecturer room. But at that time, we decided to make another room that will need a server because we thought that we got big funds to construct this new building. So, why we did not make some other room which can be useful for the students and the lecturers, the room which needs a server that we add was a library, reception rooms, and server room itself. The other room or hall which was added by us for the lecturers and the students only for extra space are the cafeteria, bathrooms, and prayer room.
