This program is organized by UTM Student Affairs that is held online on Facebook Live. The objective for this program is to ensure that students can unleash their full potentials unaffected by psychological problems by identifying the problems and how to confront them in a healthy way. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many people experience issues regarding mental health such as stress, anxiety and depression especially students currently attending online classes who are concerned by their academic performance. The invited speaker was Dr. Zulfikar, Director of UTM's Counselling.
Self Reflection:
This program taught me on how to become a global citizen by interacting with the community and making the correct decisions or giving advices. By acquiring knowledge about mental health, I am able to identify my own problems and ways to cope with them. This essentially may help many people in harsh environment or unfavorable situations as it gives me a better perspective to understand their hardships.
