AMIR ISKANDAR BIN NORKHAIRULAZADDIN's Reflection
From project 2, I have learned a lot of things while doing the project with my group. When doing the project, I notice that it is important to understand the topics that have been taught in the class. For me, the trickiest thing when doing to do the project is when using the statistical tool which is R programming to do the analysis. At first, it is very hard to understand how it works with all the packages that need to be installed and used according to their function. After messing around with R for a lot of time, now I understand the R programming and able to do statistical test using it. R programming is very useful when we have a very large dataset that need to be analysed. As for the application of the topics, I was able to apply all the concept into the project and doing the calculation using R programming. The hardest statistical test to do for me is hypothesis testing as it has many criteria that need to checked first before doing the test and R programming ease the work by doing the calculation.
I glad that I have my group members that guide me when doing the calculation and report. They always give me guidance when I ask them on something that I am not understand. I also very grateful to my group members which are Faaiq, Iman and Shahril for supporting each other and giving their full contribution to the project until we managed to complete the project successfully.
I also want to express my gratitude to my lecturer which is Dr. Sharin for teaching us and giving guidance for my group when doing the project. All the topics that she had explained in class is very clear and helps me in understanding the concept that need to be used when doing the project. She also very care about her students as she always being considerate about the project due date. I am very grateful that I have a lecturer that cared about her student.
As the conclusion, I hope that the knowledge that I have obtained while doing this project will be useful and I can apply it for obtaining better outcome in the future.
During my studies, I want to establish connection with various people during my studies to more new things from them. There are many people that I met during my journey has more experienced in the industry and I hope that I can learn something from them about the ways in the industry. Other than that, I want to join many activity and competition during my studies. This will help me train my skills and gain more experience that will help me in the industry. Lastly, I want to have a unique skill such as machine learning or robotics that will help me stand out among other competitors in searching a place in the industry
From this course, I hope that I will gain many knowledge and skills that can help me building my future career. I’m now doing my degree in Science Computer (Bioinformatics) so I want to enter the industry related to it. My dream is to become a successful man in the that industry. I want to join a company and gain many experience from it in the future.
