My vision and goals for the SECR program is to widen my knowledge in this field and to leverage the knowledge in the form of entrepreneurship. In that case, I would say that this design thinking project has been an eye opener for me because I have learnt a lot during this short period of time. My ultimate goal is to begin up a tech start-up and successfully scale it up while providing solution to people’s problem and improve their lifestyle.
As I have mentioned earlier, this design thinking process will have a massive impact on me and my way of approach to solve a problem. This project has taught me how to view a problem from the user’s point of view. I personally think that this design thinking project has a potential to create innovators which is very important for the growth of a country.
In my point of view, I think it is crucial for a graduate to adapt to the design thinking skill. Moreover, as a student, it is important to equip ourselves with skills like multimedia editing and also polish our skills in current technologies in order to outshine in the industry. Furthermore, as my ambition is more to business and technopreneurship , I have to improve my corporate knowledge, communication skills and constantly be in update with the current issues in the computer science field in order to innovate.
My design thinking project is mainly on increasing the security and usability of the payWave technology.
