ARSYAD WIRATAMA RAHARJA's Reflection
From my overall experience upon this course of TIS. I learn a lot, and i think this course gave a lot of insight and understanding of the world of computing and it is important for students especially first years students and also, this course also put students do assignments in groups , which is really good for building teamwork skills among students for their next few years in university or even work environment. This course also had industrial talks, which is very informative for students, so that they got to learn it straight from the people working on the industry.
My goal regarding with my course for the future ahead is that I am eager to learn more on behalf of the knowledge given, so that hopefully the knowledge and values that I got from this program could be applied not only to my professional life later on, but to benefit others as well.
First of all, I think that this Industrial Talk went smoothly and organized. And I like that the guests of this talk are fresh graduates of UTM because for me, students could relate to them. And in my opinion, this talk inspires us students especially the first years students, for what they will face ahead in the near future. This Industrial Talk gave me a lot of motivations especially in this pandemic times. Because of they are fresh graduates of UTM, it also boosts my confidence that one day I could hopefully succeed like the speakers.
This industry Talk gave a very bright and insightful view on Project Management especially for us, students that one day will face the future work environment. The speaker Mr. Mhd Khairul Reeza has been doing Project Management for 14 years and he is now currently the Head of Project Management Commerce dot sdn bhd. Mr Reeza gave us a complete explanation on Project Management and how it applies to us students in our 4 year journey of getting a degree. He also shows what skills are needed and what companies are expecting from us (employers) when we are looking for a job in the later future. All in all this industry talk not only gave us a throughout look on Project Management, but also the implementation it has on our university life and to succeed later on in your professional career.
In this industry talk, Mr Redzuan Shah of Telekom Malaysia gave us an excellent and clear explanation on the progress of industrial technology and shows how technology revolutionize the world of industries and also how vital technology is for us. He gave us a brief explanations on how the technology progresses from the birth of steam engine until the era of digital. He also explained on how crucial technology is especially nowadays, from smart homes to health care. He also shows that Telekom Malaysia has made the base infrastructure to support the Industrial 4.0 so that the country could and will help fast forward Malaysia to Industrial 4.0 and beyond. Overall, this industry talk is very insightful and informative and gave students a good understanding on the industry of today and beyond that they will face.

First of all I think that, Design Thinking method is an effective way to solve a problem given, because we know the scope of the problem thoroughly so that the result would be satisfactory. I think that this method is very effective and should help me on working on a problem as a group.
I believe that there are a lot of what I could do to improve my potential in the industry and on of them is to maximize my ability on solving and understanding problems using the design thinking method so that I understood what’s the problem very well , and the give the best outcome.
