SAIDAH BINTI SAIFUL BAHARI's Reflection
Firstly, I would like to thanks to DR Sharin on teaching me for this whole semester. I was be able to understand what I have learnt so far. I like how she managed to interactive in the class with various ways. Sometimes she would make quizzes on telegram and she also will explained to those who still do not get a clear way on a particular topics. These activities has make me excited each time during her class. She also an understandable lecturer. She will observe and consider students' sequences and not to burden students.
In this course, we have to manage a project that have been assign to us. Throughout this project, while finishing it, I was able to know how far my understanding on how to make hypothesis in some cases or sample. By doing this project, I also be able to make my understanding more in which hypothesis testing method should I used in a particular cases. I also manage to know how to calculate the statistics results. Furthermore, I also get to learn how to use R programming. R programming has helped a lot in our project and make our calculations more easier.
The subject of technology information system was teaching me about basic of the computer and everything related to it like internet, software and esc. This subject for my class was taught by Dr Azurah A Samah. I am so grateful taught by her because she was so kind and so relatable. This course is quite tough for me since it needed me to remember a lot of things but I am still be able to understand the subject and not need me to hardly remember everything. A lot of things I had learn during TIS subject. I also got to improved my soft skills such as how to communicate in groups and esc. To be honest I am so shy on giving my opinion before but after we got a project which is called design thinking, I be able to speak out my opinion and my idea and it is feel great. Overall, I am so grateful learning this subject and I am so thankful to Dr Azurah because patiently teach me and my class.
It is quite tough since we are first year students but we had to manage online class due to covid-19. It so hard for me to adapt with the situation since I am the kind of students who cannot study alone. There were so many things happen throughout this semester. Meeting and knowing new people are also interesting. A lot of things that I had improved such as my social skills, my communication skills and esc. Of course, for me the course are quite hard but overall, I manage to came to this far and I would not easily to give up. Every subject in my course were new for me. I have to work hard and work more to understand better. It may took time but I will make sure I can handle it.
My dreams are to be one of the bioinformatics analysts. Bioinformatics analysts are a person that take a huge chunks of biological data and process them through computer programs that has been developed by computational biologists. They also create model and perform statictical analyses to generate insight from data. These are my interest and my ambition.
In order to work with computers and technology I need to improve everything and achieve a great result in every subjects that related to it. Other than that, I also need to improve my communication skills which will help me to communicate with everyone and also I need to improve my soft and hard skills.
