In this election event, my role was as a participant and as a committee in the votes collecting sector. all of the registered committees in the votes collecting sector are separated into teams of three accompanied by a supervisor and is assigned to a certain location within the land of Johor. My team was assigned to Jementah city, located 2 hours of road-trip from UTM. We started working on April 5th to survey the area and look for the locations of residents of Indonesian citizens that are provided on a list given by the main committee. On April 12th we started collecting votes from that city, we spent more than a whole day to collect in that city alone. the next day we were assigned again to another location to collect more votes. then after the collection, we had to count our collected votes and reported it to the IT team. Throughout that hectic-work, I learned how to work well with my teammates and how to communicate too, as the job required me to communicate with the Indonesian citizen in the area.
