In this event, my role was as a volunteer and a member of the committee in the accommodation sector. as a member of the committee, I was paired with a friend of mine who acted as my superior. our job was to find a venue for the event, and we had a few troubles because the first desired venue which is located strategically and is within our budget is booked by another organizer. Although in the end, we managed to secure Dewan Merdeka at KRP in the last seconds. The committee of this event worked with KPJ Johor Bahru for the equipment and staff needed. During the event, our head of the committee decided to set a goal for us to reach, which is to reach a certain number of blood packs. In order to reach that goal we advertised our event to all of our friends and asked them to volunteer. I helped by volunteering myself a pack of blood which afterward made me felt dizzy because of lower blood pressure and I was also a first-time donator.
