PILIHANRAYA KAMPUS UTM 2019
Pilihan Raya Kampus UTM 2019, was an election day for selecting the delegation for students in UTM campus. The election is held each year to elect a new representative. The election going on at every faculty and mostly on the same day but sometimes at a faculty, there are different times to elect. Before the election, there are also campaign from each candidate, and most of the candidates put posters on the board, promoting from social media, promoting to class, and etc. The candidate will be elected with the most vote from the students, staff and etc. On the election day, the students need to register using their matric card before electing the candidate. After registering themself to electing, the participants will get a huge paper containing the candidates photos, and the participants need to pin the candidates photos. After the participants electing, the participants get a snacks from the committee.
Pilihan Raya Kampus UTM, Shows me a democracy even in a university. The experience from the voting was nearly the same as the general election held by my country, even more the registration for the election at pilihanraya kampus UTM is more modern and less time-consuming. Before the election, there are several candidates campaign that makes me know who should I choose on election day. After the election, the participants receive a free treat, that makes me feel that the committee respect us as a voter in an election. Personally, my opinion about the election is actually going along smoothly. Because, I am pretty lucky that I do not face any challenge for the election since the election started I luckily pass-through the venue and they call me to elect because it is empty, because of that situation I easily doing the registration and the vote and get the sweet snacks after that.
