To begin with my reflection, I would like to send my huge appreciation to my PSDA lecturer, Dr Sharin. Her effort in answering all my doubts and questions contributes to the success of my project. Thank you Dr Sharin :').
Project 2 is about inferential statistics. Secondary data is used to carry out several statistical tests and the results would be utilized to make conclusions for the respective tests. The data is selected by browsing those data science and statistical websites. Besides, the tests had been done in this project are hypothesis test 2 sample, correlation, regression, goodness of fit test as well as chi-square test of independence.
First and foremost, I would like to say this project boosts my understanding about inferential statistics. Although we have done questions in class related to the topics, but conducting this project individually really aids in enhancing my comprehension about the statistical tests. I get to decide which variables in my chosen dataset are suitable for doing hypothesis test and correlation. Then, I manage to observe the relationship between the two variables.
Secondly, what I have hoped to be improved in Project 2 from doing Project 1 is accomplished. Stronger discipline and time management are being built for completing this project. Much more effort are invested in this individual project, from coding in R studio, writing report, recording and editing presentation video.
Last but certainly not the least, no pain no gain, all of the patience and hardwork will be paid off at the end of completing this project. All the statistical knowledge I have gained and applied throughout the semester would help me to employ correct analyses and present the results effectively in the future.
