On 5th to 7th March 2020, Kolej Tuanku Canselor was organized an engineering exhibition called “Royal Engineering Festival”. This program was held to expose more about engineering to other students. I volunteered to be one of the crew members for this program. I was assigned to registration department. My task was to make a list of participants that joined every program during this festival. I am to make sure all the participants could present on that day.
During those three days of festival, a lot of activities were held. There were engineering exhibition and job interview from top engineering company in Malaysia such as Topgloves, Intel and others. I got to see some of my seniors were applying for interviews for their internships. Furthermore, there were talks regarding engineering. It was to expose more about engineering world and job scopes. The talks were so interesting that we did not notice that the talks were over. We surely want more!
From the program, I make new friends. But, this time is a little bit different. I got new friends from all ages. Younger than me, older than me you just named it! Just from the three days, I learned how to give and take with them, work until midnight and much more. Besides, I learned some new knowledge on handling the program. These knowledge I will never get in class. It was very valuable. I also got to know some lecturers that I have never met before. It may sound funny but, it is happening!
