Hari Kokurikulum
On 23rd November 2019, UTM Sports Official Club organized a program. This program emphasized basic rules and regulations of football. I joined this club and volunteered myself to be a treasurer for this program. I am so excited and nervous at the same time. The program was held at SMK Taman Desa Skudai. The participants are students from various schools around Skudai.
First and foremost, before starting a program, we definitely need a plan. The plan consists of the objective, cost, benefits and disadvantages of the program. For me as a treasurer, I need to list down all the expenses needed by all the crew members of the program. I need to make an accurate calculation for all the costs of the program before I went to the financial director of UTM to ask for the program’s fund. After the program finished, I did the financial report for the program. I ask the lecturer in charge to help me with the report too.
From the program, I learned something new. Firstly. I got new knowledge on handling a program. I knew all the flow of program start-up which is I will never get in class. Next, I learned some treasurer’s job scopes which is settling the financial report and handling a large sum of money. Other than that, I was able to make new friends too. I became close to the lecturer when I always come to consult him for the financial report.
