Accreditation of our B. Urban and Regional Planning Program, UTM. (4th and 5th of July 2012)

Once every five years, our degree program will be evaluated by a selected panel. Only when this panel is satisfy with our product (especially student's products), content of our syllabus, and the department's setting, our degree will be accredited. Thus all of you will have a legitimate certificate of Bachelor in Urban and Regional Planning. This year, that time come again and all of us are responsible to make sure we obtain the accreditation for another 5 years.

The accreditation will be held on 4th and 5th of July 2012 (Wednesday and Thursday) and the panelists are VVIP in our field at least in Malaysia.
Among of them are:
i) Dato' Jaafar Atan (Mayor of Shah Alam),
ii) Datin Nooraini Ismail (Director, Cooperate JPBD),
iii) Tuan Hj. Lokman Omar (Director Planning, of Majlis Perbandaran Seremban),
iv) Assoc. Prof. Wan Yusoff Abdullah (UiTM),
v) Mrs. Hafaliza (Director of Law, JPBD), and
vi) Mr. Nazri Jaafar (Professional Planner)

Assalamualaikum n Greeting to all.

Now that accreditation is finally over, the department would like to thank every single students that had given their best hand for this accreditation. As in our observation, the program had gone well. The panel was very satisfied with our students personallity, student products, our syllabus, and our facilities here in department. Of course there are several minor improvements to be made, especially related to your feedbacks and panelists suggestions. But in overall, it is a good accreditation.

We had done tremendous job as a team this few days. By God will, insyallah, we will get our accreditation renewed, for our juniors... For those who about to graduate, goodluck in your carreer, work hard, have ethics, and be a humble human being that always contribute to our society and nation. insyallah we'll meet again during your convocation day.. (^^,)
