4. Mini Report

            I got notified of this event from my coordinator and there are a few small activities under this event. I joined as participant for two activities which are for e-sport I entered PUBG competition with my other classmate. For another activity I joined Badminton games in women double with my friend. In addition, I also attended the closing ceremony for this event where I received two medals for getting places for both games that I entered. We participated by filling the Google Form provided by the organiser for each different sport and after that paying the competition fees. The graduate attribute that is focused on during this event is leadership and teamworking skills. This is because, all of us could learn the teamworking skills during the competition and somehow how to lead when playing. The content of the activities of the event is such as:

I could say that there are so many impacts of me joining some activities under this event on the development of my graduate attribute. One of it is, feeling the spirit of sport. For example, for both competitions that I entered, I was getting so enthusiastic while playing especially badminton because this is my first time ever joining a badminton competition. And this led to learning how to work well with my teammate such as understanding each other better, be responsible for every action and the importance of everybody’s decision on anything. After that, another impact is it is such an eye opening as along the process I got to learn what a great leadership looks like as seeing every team leader of each competition and also how the management staff conduct the event. All those impacts are so important for every student for future benefit.

By joining the activities from this event, I also gained self-strength and other benefits. For instance, I learnt how to stay strong and not giving up while competing in a game. I learnt how to deal with my emotions and upgrade my communication skills with everyone involves with the activities. And finally, of course there are a few challenges that comes along the journey. One of the most difficult thing to handle during the event is how to divide times efficiently as while participating with the event I also need to attend class and so on.
