On 2 March 2019, bionic society organized Bionic Medical Engineering Workshop. This workshop was a platform for students to explore on things related to engineering. Engineering is wide scope that involve design, building, and use of engines, machines, and structures. This workshop was divided into few sections on how to create artificial arm. Firstly, they though students how to create program which requires programming knowledge. Their aim was as a successful engineer we should have knowledge on programming so they though a basic program to create artificial arm. Next they though on ideas how to design the structure of artificial arm as it is also a part of engineer's job. Finally, they though on how to connect programming with artificial arm to make a victorious artificial arm. This bionic workshop also provide certificate for students who attend this workshop.
I had learn many things from this workshop that will be helpful for my future as an engineer. First and foremost is on how to innovate things as nowadays many famous industries are organizing hundreds of workshop so that they can see the talent of innovation from students. Moreover getting explore to current world technologies will help me to create new things as engineer's job scope is to create new machines and structure. Furthermore, it boost up my confidence to learn technical skills as it will be helpful when searching for jobs because companies will prefer to hire those who are good in hand on. Furthermore, I had a chance to add on my programming knowledge on create a program for a object. In conclusion, this workshop helps to create awareness for students pursuing engineering course to get used to current technologies.
