Online resources VS. traditional resources, that was our topic name. The purpose of the topic was to find out what the most preferred methods used among the UTM students, and why they prefer one upon the other or do they use both methods. We collected over 128 instances in our survey that contained more than 20 questions, some of them were about participants' information (Gender, Nationality ...etc) and another part of the questions was focusing on our main study.
To summarize our results:
first, most of the students prefer both to use both online and traditional resources to study, but there is a number that cannot be ignored 33% of the instances prefer only online resources. We asked them about the reasons that make the students use the online resource and the majority agreed that because of two reasons, lack of lecturers explanations as well as the get extra information.
the second thing was that 45% of students are enrolled in online courses so the usage of the online resources was linked with getting extra information, and for the students who are enrolled only 13 of students pay for the courses.

my reflection about the project:
No doubt that every new thing we try in our life, can either benefit has or the opposite. This project particularly benefits me a lot in many fields, First thing that the learned is how the surveys are done I mean here what is behind the scenes, for a long time when I used to see statistics surveys on the internet I was know how they collect the data, analyzed it and how they build their conclusions on the data.
I learned the fundamentals of making a survey, starting from finding the problem or the idea and how can this survey benefit us, how to collect the data and the methods used for that and what are the problems that you might face, for instance, in our project at the beginning when we published our google form survey we couldn't get enough of instances so we had to make a Prize draw as a way to make people to participate. Another thing I learned is how to find the best way to represent them and summarize them graphically, and how to choose suitable charts so that the normal reader can understand the data. I also examine the tools that used to analyze hundred of data like R language which helped me a lot in building a clear view about the data analyzing world, and how can data analysts deal with the information of thousands or even millions of the data in efficient ways as well as in short period.
Speaking about teamwork, since this project was done in a group I had to mention what I learned and what are the mistakes I did, starting from how to divide and coordinate work among the group members, and how you should be patient with your teammates, since not the all members have the same abilities to work or to do the tasks.
in the end, I can say statistics generally have played an important role in many sciences and life field, learning this world or at least having a view on this world can benefit me in (direct way or indirect way), maybe someday I will use what I learned from this project to make my own study, which will be in the second project that we had to make it alone now I know how to choose my study, how to find the data I need, which tools I might use, how to present the data graphically as well as how to build my conclusions on my study goal.
