PDSA Reflection Project
Probability and Statistical Data Analysis(PSDA) is a course that teaches skills in understanding whether data is meaningful, including optimization, inference, testing, and other methods for analyzing patterns in data and using them to predict, understand, and improve results. From the course and my lecturer Dr. Sharin Hazlin Binti Huspi, I had learned and understood the methods of analyzing data. To learn from practice, our group had completed a group project which used the Rstudio to do some data analysis. My group is Group peacock, which composed of 4 people, Thong Nyook Ann, Lim Wei Hsien, Lee Bao Yi, and me Tan Li Min. Our project topic is "How Social Media Influences Academic Performances Among Scholars", that we had collected our data from the scholars in University in our country. From the process of data collection, I had learned to rearrange the questions in google form to make it more attractive and easy to understand. I also learned to have good communication with my group members to agree with the types of questions and the style of our google form.
After collecting the data, we had discussed to assign our works. Then, we can start to take our data from google form and do the data analysis by using R studio.R studio is an integrated development environment (IDE) for R, a programming language for statistical computing and graphics. At first, we studied the instructions slide to learn a new programming language of R studio. From the project, I had learned this new programming language to make my process of data analyzing more easier t. I had learned to draw my draw and tabulate my data with R studio.
After drawing the graph, we decided to make a video to explain about our topic and the data collected. I decided to make the introduction and the explanation of the method used in our video. From the process of making the video, I had learned how to edit videos and make the subtitle for our video. All of us learned to edit our videos and then combined them. I used Filmora9 to complete my video.
Last but not least, I would like to thank my lecturer, Dr. Sharin, for putting her full effect to help us to complete this project and also be there for us. It is very honor to be her student.
