the hardest question i have ever seen! i cannot anwer question no 1 and no 2.. no 3 and no 4 i cannot finish it..i'm blurr..but for question 5 and 6..i can complete it.but i'm not confident with the final answer..hopely everthing will just fine! aminnn...

this is the best that i can do..hopely the mark not make me fail again..Cry

this test much much better than test 1 and test 2. for the beggining i not really confident with the question.. but alhmdulalah i got full mark for the question 1.. 

question 2: lost mark for explanation..aishhh Yell

question 3: i have no idea to solve this question..so sad Cry

question 4: blurr...do not know how to solve. i'm confius with 100% effiency. ???? Foot in Mouth

semester 1 session 2012/2013

lecturer: Prof .Kamarul Asri Ibrahim

 

This course introduces students to the chemical engineering profession and the fundamental operations of chemical process equipment.It also provides students with the basic principles of chemical engineering energy balances as well as calculation techniques to solve the material and energy balance problems for chemical process systems and equipment.

Course Outcome:

  1. Write basis, reference conditions and carry out unit conversion and equipment identification for various chemical processes, process variable and unit operations in chemical industry.
  2. Perform and solve energy balances with respect to changes in temperature, pressure and phase for non-reactive process.
  3. Calculate the standard heat of reaction using Hess’s Law, heat of formation and heat of combustions and then solve problems for reactive processes.
  4. Define entropy and then calculate the entropy changes in a given process.
  5. Analyze and calculate the performances of power and refrigeration cycles.
  6. Conduct problem solving solution of mass and energy problem using principle of conservation.
  7. Commit in the preparation of learning experience process using E-Portfolio.

journal reflection on quizzes pcp II

Through out the semester, about 12 quizzes were conducted by our lecturer, Prof. Kamarul 'Asri Ibrahim.The quiz session was conducted before the lecture class is begin. This session took about 10 until 15 minutes.

Quiz 1 till Quiz 8 covers Energy Balance topics while Quiz 9 till Quiz 12 covers Thermodynamics topics.

 

this quizzes make me more understand about the topic.i need to study before the quiz. But n the same time,i also prepared for the final soon.At least i still remember what i learn befori in the class. All this quizzes also help me to avoid from careless mistake. At least i know how to write basis,reference condition and box my answer.Laughing

test 1 pcp II journal reflection

 question 1:  I made a mistake in drawing a hypothetical path which I did it reversely

question 2: : I've completed the table but don't manage to finish my calculating to get the final answer.

question 3:  I did not have any idea to solve it. Suddenly, my mind got blank.. End up      didn't answer this question.

question 4: i cannot answer the question very well..i'm lost and blank.i lost many mark for these question.

 

i promise i will do well for the next test. Laughing

test 2 pcp II journal reflection

finally, i  got back my paper for test 2 pcp II...i'm so thankful to god because at least i'm not fail this time.the mark for these test better than first test..alhamdullah. many careless mistake i have done in this test. i cant get full mark because of these careless mistake. for question 1..i didnt draw the path..that is why i just got 8 marks out of 2o marks.huhuhu

for the rest question..it just -ve and +ve sign mistake..

hopely..i didnt make a same mistake again for test 3 and final exam. (^_^)v

 
 

berakhirnya semester 2

pejam celik pejam celik...dah nak hbis semester 2..minggu depan dah start study week...cepat betul masa berlalu.rasa macam semalam baru daftar subjek untuk semester 2(ok,atikah mula cakap bohong..hehehehTongue out)..maksudnya dah nak hampir final exam la ni..tapi kepala macam kosong jer...apa cer ni..atikah asyik main jer kan..sebab tu result rajin ke laut kan...nanti result final teruk mula nak emosi sorang2 kan...tapi tiba2 teringat kata2 hajar sulaiman selepas dapat result sem1..

'tikah,kita kena usaha lebih untuk sem 2..kita kena dapat dekan..kita mesti score'

tapi fenomena untuk sem 2 x sama dengan kata2 si hajar sulaiman tadi..hadehhh.. sedih.. tapi masih belum terlambat kan.. (cewah..ayat sedapkan hati..Tongue out) study week is the time for us to do revision.but perkara pertama saya buat untuk study week ni adalah BALIK KEDAH!!!..wah wah..ke main lg ko kan atikah...apa cer niLaughing hehehehe...so apa nak di kata..heheheheh tapi balik pun sebab nak minta berkat mak ayah...harap2 dapat score final..orang kata kalau dapat keberkatan mak ayah kita boleh berjaya..(ayat sedapkan hati lagi...Tongue out)

firstly,what is pcp..Undecided.pcp is principal of chemical process. dengar jer pcp itu sendiri dah rasa subjek ni susah.tapi inilah cabaran buat budak first year kos chemical enginnering..

after study this course for 1 semester i think this course really hard for me.. since i not really good in test 1 and test 2..for test 1 i just got 6.1% while for test 2 i just get 4.1%...for test 3 i do not know how much i will get..i hope i can score more than test 1 and test 2.'agak sedih dan kecewa bila tengok result test.kita dah usaha tapi itu jer yang kita mampu..Cry' but dr aznizam always motivated us to study hard for this course.he always make us laugh with his joke. it really release our stress during the class.thanks alot dr because always cheer up the class..you the rock la dr..yeyeahhh

Kiss.... our final exam for this course on 16/6/2012..its about 2 week from now. for getting a better result i need to study hard. i hope can do well for the final.Cool

first day...

pukul 8 pagi masuk kelas DR AZNIZAM ABU BAKAR. seriusnya Dr waktu..maybe sebab first kelas..dia mahu tunjukkan ketegasan Dr mengajar.. Kami dengan penuh semangat mendengar celoteh Dr Aznizam. Bagi permulaan kelas, Dr menerangkan apa itu Principle of Chemical Process. what are the sub topics for this subject that we need to learn for this semester 2. what are the total mark and credit hour  for this subject. this course introduces students to the chemical enginerring profession and the fundamental operations of chemical process equipment.it also provided students with the basic principles of chemical engineering material balances as well as calculation techniques to solve material balance problems.
