Tokyo Smarttech'18 (Global Outreach Programme)

On the 24th of June until 30th June, I have spent the whole week in Japan for the Tokyo Smarttech'18 programme.

Tokyo Smarttech'18 programme was a visitation event on one of the Universities in Tokyo, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology.

We have spent two days in the University and we sure learned a lot of how improved their implementation of technology in their studies and how their technology products were structured in an innovative way!

Below is an attachment of one of the pictures we took with one of the professors in TUAT.

Three main things I have learned throughout the programme:

1) I have learned to be more adaptable in a different country. There were several recycle rules that we were asked to follow during our stay in Japan, and thus teaching me that we really do need to love our nature.

2) Japanese culture is unbelievably unique and you can't get enough of it, there were a number of experience we had throughout the stay, for instance of how kind and helpful of Japanese people are and also how their service are really top notch!

3) Teamwork and volunteering , a day before going to TUAT, we divided ourselves into groups of two, one of the groups has volunteered to search for the University beforehand while the other group was to continue the day as planned on the tentative.

Objectively, there were a lot more things I have learned but most of them I took  as personal motivations.

As a nutshell, it was a successful event. We have spent well our 7 days stay in Japan.
