There is no FOD walk today due to some inevitable reason of weather issue. However, there are some cleaning performed inside the hangar and major finding is found where hydraulic fluid scattered under the starboard engine pylon of Lion Air B737-300ER inside Hangar 77. The finding resulted in major cleaning of the entire hangar floor by the command of the CEO.
Today, assisting the maintenance crew to perform removal and installation of avionics ventilation skin-air-inlet/outlet-valve for in shop overhaul for Wyngedit Hong Kong Jet A319 VP-BED. The avionics compartment needs to be well-ventilated as the bay may become so hot due to the electrical components getting hot and of course, to avoid any flashpoint that can spark fire as what was happened to brand-new Boeing 787 aircraft battery that was getting burned in-flight due to overheat.
